The Tiny Abolitionist Film Festival Was a SUCCESS!

Thank you for making the first-ever Tiny Abolitionist Film Festival A SMASHING SUCCESS!

Against all odds, you filled the Warner Club—on a Tuesday night during graduation ceremonies for multiple high schools that closed down Main Street and filled the other theater space at the Warner.

Swiss filmmaker Mat Callahan was impressed by our city's commitment to arts, culture, and equality. He will certainly talk about us at the other events on his screening tour, bringing attention to Torrington as a historically significant stop on the Arts and Culture (and freedom-trail) roadmap.

Building community through music and the arts. Jacque Williams and Dan Morrison of Culture 4 A Cause drop off 112 pounds of nonperishable food items to Karen Thomas, Executive Director of the Friendly Hands Food Bank in Torrington, CT.

The festival was a resounding success, and together, we assembled over 100 pounds of nonperishable food for the Friendly Hands Food Bank.

The VIP event preceding the film festival sold out, thus gathering the lion’s share of the food bank deposits.
